Introducing…MOM’S NIGHT OUT WORKSHOP SERIES!!
Founder and owner of Unlimited You LLC, Lucinda Testo, is excited to announce the addition of a NEW wellness-based workshop series just for moms called, “Mom’s Night Out”! Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, a mom who works outside of the home, a married mom, a single mom or a divorced mom (or any combination of those), chances are you could use a night out that is all about you! Lucinda works full-time as a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Life Coach and…a mom. She understands the demands of motherhood and that as mothers, we often put the needs of our kids (and sometimes everyone else!) before our own, which can leave little time for our own self-care, self-nourishment and self-improvement.
Join Lucinda Testo one Friday per month from 6pm-8pm for an evening filled with comradery AND wellness-based strategies to help you nourish your spirit. Each month, the “Mom’s Night Out” workshop will have a different self-care theme. Don’t wait to reserve your spot as each workshop can only accommodate 10 moms!
Light refreshments will be served..Yoga pants and oversized T-shirts are welcomed!
June 9th, 2017 from 6pm-8pm $40
Attitude of Gratitude – Did you know that one of the biggest indicators of happiness is gratitude? Trying to juggle work (whether it’s inside or outside of the home), kids, schedules, deadlines, commitments and even our husbands or significant others (if you have one) can make it difficult to practice daily gratitude. We get lost in what’s NOT working in our lives and quickly become frustrated, sad or anxious. Spending just 5-10 minutes per day on daily gratitude can not only improve your mood, but it can improve your relationships with others AND make you more productive. Pick out your gratitude journal from Lucinda’s collection to begin your daily gratitude practice that night!
July 7th, 2017 from 6pm-8pm $35
The Power of ME! – As a mom, do you sometimes feel like you’ve lost yourself? Are you consumed with dance recitals and soccer practices? Paying bills, doing laundry, washing dishes? Playdates and parent/teacher conferences? Do you feel so consumed by schedules and timelines that you don’t even have time to focus on what’s important to you? We do so much as moms that sometimes we end up living on autopilot. When’s the last time you sat down and made a list of what’s important to you? What do you love to do that you wish you had more time to do? What excites you? We are more effective mothers when we take the time to nourish our own spirits. Join us and spend an evening re-igniting your passion for life!
August 4th, 2017 from 6pm-8pm $35
Living in the Moment – Are you a mom who is always worrying about tomorrow, next week, next year or even five years from now? Or do you bask in the guilt of things that you didn’t get done yesterday, or should have completed last week? The “woulda, coulda, shoulda’s” of the past can often lead to feelings of depression, while worrying about future events that haven’t even happened yet often result in feelings of anxiety. Why do we, as moms, struggle so much with living in the present moment…the only moment we actually have some control over? What would it feel like to spend MORE time with your child or teen IN the moment? What would it feel like if you spent more time with YOURSELF in the moment, appreciating and feeling grateful for it? Come spend two hours and learn strategies to help you live MORE of your life in the present moment.
Stay tuned for the fall dates and themes!
